Summer of 2023 Math & Reading

Information for students at each grade level is listed below. 

Please note that students entering Grades 2 thru 8 will use the IXL Summer Boost Program. 
This program provides 20 days of Math Practice.  
We encourage students to space out the work over the summer weeks to provide regular practice.

Middle School: For students entering 6, 7 or 8th grade, you must complete enough problems to reach the smart zone. You do not need to go further but getting to 100% in each section will make you a better math student. Students should pace themselves throughout the summer and complete a couple of units every couple of weeks. Do not, do not, wait until the final week of summer break to start this. It defeats the purpose of keeping you sharp throughout the summer. Your participation in this summer program will be your first quiz grade upon return. Start the year off with an easy 100! We are able to monitor your progress online and see if you are pacing yourself evenly though the summer.
