Volunteer Opportunities

As part of our Service Hours Program, all families are required to contribute a minimum of 15 hours of volunteer service to the Blessed Sacrament School community during each school year.

The Parent Collaborative Volunteer Opportunities Document summarizes the wide range of volunteer projects available to parents.  To learn more about a particular volunteer opportunity, complete our Volunteer Interest Survey.

Hours served should be reported online through our school management system, MyStudentsProgress.com (MSP). For MSP login information, contact our Office Manager, Michelle Saunders at msaunders@blessedsacrament.org.  For more information about the service hours policy, click here.

Elementary Yearbook - Help Needed!: Two or three volunteers wanted who would like to contribute to the elementary yearbook for the 2017-2018 year.  Photographers and/or scrapbookers are perfect for this project! Photographers typically attend events, take pictures and upload them to the yearbook website. Yearbook designers work on page layouts from their home computers on their own time frame aiming towards submission of the yearbook in April. This is a fun and creative way to fulfill service hours! If you are interested or would like to hear more about it, please email Michelle Miller (michelleteresamiller@gmail.com).

“Sweet” Volunteer Opportunity:  Baking Team
The PC is seeking to create a team of volunteers who are willing to provide a home baked item for a PC event from time to time.  If you express an interest, you name will be added to a Signup Genius Group. When there is a need for baked goods, a specific Signup Genius will go out only to individuals in that group including a list of items needed and time/location for delivery.  You can choose when you would like to sign up and slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.  Home baked items (1 loaf, 1 cake, 2-3 dozen mini-muffins, cookies, bars, brownies, 1 dozen regular sized muffins/cupcakes) earn 1 service hour.  If you are interested in being part of this team or would like more information, please contact bsspc@blessedsacrament.org.
