St. Francis Annual Fund

What is the Saint Francis Annual Fund?

The Saint Francis Annual Fund is the cornerstone of Blessed Sacrament School’s fundraising efforts that allows us to invest added resources and provide new opportunities for our exceptional child-centered program.

Your single contribution has the power to impact the educational experience of all Blessed Sacrament students as well as the remarkable work of all BSS teachers. It signals your confidence in our mission to inspire confident, compassionate, spiritual, independent, and creative thinkers who embrace lifelong learning.

Why Give? Where Does the Money Go?

Give to the St. Francis Annual Fund because you believe in the work of our school, the dedication of our teachers, and the impact a Blessed Sacrament education will have on a child’s future.

In today’s complex and competitive world, children need more than just a solid education – they need an extraordinary one. If we relied on tuition alone to pay for everything that makes Blessed Sacrament School distinct and special, tuition costs would skyrocket. While families continue to pay an affordable tuition of $6,550 per student, the actual cost of education is over $7,300. This leaves a gap of almost $800 per student. Together with the annual Under the Stars Dinner Auction and Dance fundraiser, the BSS St. Francis Annual Fund enables us to offer high quality programs that foster academic excellence, spiritual growth, character, and community while keeping tuition low.

Your contribution to the Annual Fund will be put to work right away to help pay for budgeted expenses – from classroom materials to technology to science lab consumables – just to name a few. A large portion of our budget goes toward teacher salaries, because nothing is more important than ensuring that our students are taught by the very highest quality educators.

How Much Should I Give and When?

Each gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. We ask every family to give as their means allow – donations range in size from $10 to $10,000. Participation at any level is important and has the power to inspire others to give as well. Your participation is a valuable sign of your belief in our mission and a signal of your pride in your Blessed Sacrament experience.

The earlier we receive your donation, the sooner we can put it to work for all our students. We encourage all families to make their pledges by December 31, though payments are accepted until June 30.

What is this Year's Fundraising Goal?

Our goal this year is a simple one.  We are aiming for 100% participation from our families at BSS.  We hope you will join us in working towards this goal which has never before been achieved at BSS!  Any gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.  Please consider making a gift today!

110% Club

BSS faculty and staff give 110% of themselves every day, and we challenge our donors to match this same commitment by increasing their last contribution by at least 10%. Membership in the 110% Club is one important way to guarantee sustained growth of the Annual Fund.

Do You Accept Matching Gifts?

Yes! When gifts are matched, Blessed Sacrament School benefits from the increased donation. Many companies offer a program whereby they will match the value of any gift that is contributed in support of a non-profit organization. Please check with your Human Resources department for proper documentation as an easy way to double your gift.

Is My Gift Tax-Deductible?

Blessed Sacrament School is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit educational institution and we invite you to make a fully tax-deductible investment in our school. A cash gift entitles the donor to a charitable contribution deduction in the year in which it is paid. A contribution made on a credit card is deductible in the year it is charged to your credit card.
