From the Principal

 Dustin Demers - BSS Principal

Dear Parents,

As the new principal of Blessed Sacrament School I am so honored to have been chosen to serve as the leader of this amazing school community.  Each new day in my role as principal has shown me what a special place Blessed Sacrament is. Becoming a member of Blessed Sacrament School is to become a member of a truly amazing family.  This family is rooted in  the eternal values of our Catholic faith, while also embracing the excitement of 21st century learning.  With these foundations the BSS family strives to  “build the city of God on a foundation of faith and knowledge.”

Here at BSS, our teachers are innovative and creative in the classroom. They care for their students with great love while challenging them to grow and mature academically, socially and spiritually.  BSS is a place where our faculty and staff collaborate  to ensure that each individual student can reach their God-given potential both academically and personally.  At Blessed Sacrament School, our faculty guide our students to reach their individual academic goals, while most importantly modeling the Gospel message of love, compassion, and kindness.

Our students show excitement for learning, persevere through challenges, think critically, and enjoy collaborating with each other to solve problems. Most importantly, they are consistently kind and thoughtful toward one another, and seek to put others’ needs before their own.  Our parents are partners with us in the education of their children, and are actively involved in the life of this school.

We work together each day to create a school community where every child can learn, thrive and grow.  As our graduates move on to the finest high schools in the area, they do so with the core values of our school deeply rooted in their hearts and minds.  The accolades our students go on to receive during their high school careers and beyond speak volumes about the difference a Blessed Sacrament education makes in the lives of our students.  More importantly though, the well-rounded, service-oriented young men and women they become truly sets apart Blessed Sacrament from other institutions.

Choosing the right school for your children is among the most important decisions that you will ever have to make as parents.  Here in Walpole, and our surrounding towns, families are blessed to have many fine options to choose from.  I believe, however, that there is something truly special about a Blessed Sacrament School education.  I hope that we will have the chance to show your family the Blessed Sacrament School difference in the coming months.  Please contact me to arrange a school tour, or plan to visit us at our next Open House.

Blessings,

Dustin Demers
