From the Principal

Jim Spillman - BSS Principal, 2010 - Present

Dear Parents,

For the past seven years, I have been proud to serve as the principal of this special school community.  Each day, I am blessed to work with teachers, students and parents who are enthusiastically dedicated to sustaining our school’s mission to “build the city of God on a foundation of faith and knowledge.”  Our teachers are innovative and creative in the classroom, caring for their students with great love while challenging them to grow and mature academically, socially and spiritually.

Our students are excited about learning, persevere through challenges, think critically, and enjoy collaborating with each other to solve problems. Most important, they are consistently kind and thoughtful toward one another, and seek to put others’ needs before their own.  Our parents are partners with us in the education of their children, and are actively involved in the life of this school.

We work together each day to create a school community where every child can learn, thrive and grow. As principal, it is truly rewarding to watch our students develop into confident, intelligent and caring young men and women during their time with us.  As our graduates move on to the finest high schools in the area, they do so with the core values of our school deeply rooted in their hearts and minds.  What a blessing it is for all of to be part of their lives during these foundational years!

Choosing the right school for your children is among the most important decisions that you will ever have to make at parents.  Here in Walpole and our surrounding towns, families are blessed to have many fine options to choose from.  I believe, however, that there is something truly special about a Blessed Sacrament School education.  I hope that we will have the chance to show your family the Blessed Sacrament School difference in the coming months.  Please contact me to arrange a school tour, or plan to visit us at our next Open House.

Warm Regards,

Jim Spillman
